Key Responsibilities
* Manage large-scale databases (TB-level), across
Unix/Linux and Windows platforms
* Install, configure, upgrade, and administer multiple
Oracle DB versions
* Implement
high availability
solutions using
RAC
,
GoldenGate
, and
Data Guard
* Administer
ASM instances
and manage
Exadata environments
* Plan and execute
database migrations
,
patching
, and
tech refreshes
* Perform
backup and recovery
using
RMAN
and third-party tools
* Monitor and tune database performance using
AWR
,
ADDM
,
ASH
, and more
* Lead
proactive database analysis
, issue resolution, and capacity planning
* Administer
Oracle Grid Control
and configure
OEM monitoring tools
* Automate routine DBA tasks via
Shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL
* Mentor and guide
L1/L2 DBAs
, ensuring adherence to SOPs and best practices
* Provide
24x7 on-call support
for production and critical application databases
Core Technical Skills
* Strong expertise in
Oracle Database Administration
* High Availability setups (
RAC
,
GoldenGate
,
Data Guard
)
* Experience with
Exadata

ASM
, and
OEM
* Strong scripting (Shell, SQL, PL/SQL) and
performance tuning
* Deep understanding of
ITIL processes
