Position Overview
The Structural Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and ensuring the safety, strength, and stability of various structural projects. This is a full-time position based in Co.Meath. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in structural engineering.
Responsibilities
* Design and analyze structural systems for various construction projects.
* Evaluate structural materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and composites for appropriate use in projects.
* Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
* Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
* Prepare and review engineering reports and proposals.
* Provide recommendations for structural modifications and improvements based on project needs.
* Ensure all projects adhere to safety standards and local regulations.
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
* Extensive knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and methods.
Desired Experience
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering within industrial settings.
* Proven experience in steel structures and familiarity with secondary steelwork.
* Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, and deadlines effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
