Electrical Engineer Job
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and be able to work independently.
The successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of the preconstruction stage, including health and safety, technical submissions, construction drawing production, prefabrication, building control submissions, and the management of the projects commissioning phase.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Preparing engineering designs for electrical installations and systems
* Undertaking project work by taking responsibility for the preparation of engineering designs for electrical installations and systems
* Data manipulation of original drawings according to the revision of the specification
* Conducting independent reading and research to ensure drawing/specification accuracy
* Liaising with various contractors regarding the design and coordination of installations
* Preparing Operations and Maintenance Manuals
* Enhancing and improving the service delivered by the client
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience in a fast-paced construction environment.
Requirements include:
* Graduate with a degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a fast-paced construction environment
* Must have a thorough understanding of I.S.10101, I.S.3217 and I.S.3218
* Background in consulting and/or construction is highly desired
* A basic working knowledge of CAD functionality with MS Office experience
* Ability to use IT based calculations and spreadsheet software
* Health & Safety awareness with an understanding of the legislation and required standards
* Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise their own workload
