What you’ll do:
1. Design, develop, and operate high-scale applications across the full engineering stack
2. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
3. Apply modern software development practices (serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, etc.)
4. Work across teams to integrate our systems with existing internal systems, Data Fabric, CSA Toolset
5. Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to turn business requirements and vision into reality
6. Be part of a globally distributed engineering team
7. Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and their impact on network, or service operations and quality
8. Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
9. Research, create, and develop software applications to extend and improve Equifax Solutions
10. Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to data and information
11. Actively participate in Sprint planning, Retrospectives, and other team activities
What experience you need:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2. 5+ years of software engineering experience
3. 5+ years experience with Java, SpringBoot, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS (including debugging and troubleshooting)
4. 5+ years experience with Cloud technologies: GCP, AWS, or Azure
5. 5+ years experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions
6. 5+ years experience with microservices architecture using Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, GKE/Kubernetes
7. 5+ years experience deploying software via Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, understanding infrastructure-as-code, Helm, and Terraform
8. UI development experience (HTML, JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap)

1. Self-starter who responds effectively to priority shifts with minimal supervision
2. Experience with big data processing solutions (Dataflow/Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, Composer/Airflow)
3. Backend technologies such as JAVA/J2EE, SpringBoot, SOA, Microservices
4. Source control systems (SVN, Git, Github) and build tools like Maven & Gradle
5. Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, XP)
6. Relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)
7. Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Github)
8. Experience with modern JDK (v1.7+)
9. Automated testing tools (JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, SoapUI)
