Job Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain high standards in safety, quality, and environmental performance:

o Be fully accountable for achieving results and cost performance through people, plant, and process.
* Improve plant reliability:
o Collaborate with engineering and continuous improvement teams to enhance plant efficiency and deliver targets and process improvements.
* Lead root cause analysis and implement systemic changes:
o Employ lean methodologies to drive employee engagement and a culture of continuous improvement.
o Utilize various improvement tools including Kaizen, root cause analysis, short interval control meetings, six sigma approaches to drive engagement and improvement.
* Optimize resource utilization:
o Facilitate the optimal use of all resources within the plant to deliver the agreed production plan by working closely with relevant stakeholders and teams.
* Enhance team morale:
o Manage a team of direct reports.
o Create a positive working environment to boost morale and develop a culture of two-way communication.
o Define expected norms of behavior that sets high personal standards for the team.
* Effectively manage Union relationships and Industrial Relations issues within the plant.
About You
* Demonstrated experience as a production line manager/manufacturing team leader or equivalent.
* Proven track record of working in a unionized environment.
* A strong drive for Continuous improvement and results-driven approach.
* Experience with Lean methodology is advantageous but not required - Training will be provided.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a results-oriented mindset.
* Manufacturing Plant technical knowledge is preferred.
