Cpl Healthcare is currently accepting applications for the position of Day Service Manager for their Co. Tipperary based client. The service provided residential, respite, and day services for adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities. The focus is on promoting independent living, community integration, personal development, and work opportunities for attendees.
This full-time permanent role requires 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The key responsibilities include implementing best practices to deliver high-quality, person-centered services in alignment with New Directions and the company's values. The Day Service Manager will be in charge of the operational aspects of the day services, providing leadership to ensure top-notch, person-centered services while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
Applicants must meet specific criteria to be considered for the position:
1. A relevant 3rd level qualification equivalent to level 7/8 in health, social care, or nursing.
2. A recognized Management/Leadership Qualification at a minimum QQI Level 6.
3. 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar setting, demonstrating leadership in delivering person-centered supports.
4. Familiarity with New Directions and the EASI tool.
5. Previous experience in staff management and working within set resources.
6. Experience in supporting individuals with Challenging Behavior.
7. Knowledge of relevant legislation such as Health and Safety and Employment laws.
8. Demonstrated motivational and leadership skills.
9. Possession of an up-to-date, valid Irish Driving License.
10. Eligibility to work in Ireland.
