This is a hybrid role with offices available in Dublin, Galway, Cork, Sligo, and Kilkenny.About The Transport Infrastructure Business: With more than half the world’s population now living in urban areas, smart, safe, and sustainable transport is crucial. Designing and delivering local transport systems requires careful consideration of many issues, from environmental impact to community needs. We provide services across the project lifecycle and have worked on many successful projects in Ireland, the UK, and internationally.About The Role: The Senior Project Engineer will work on the design and delivery of roads, rail, greenways, and active travel projects from inception through planning, design, and construction.Responsibilities:Prepare designs and reports appropriate to experience level at all project stages.Ensure compliance with quality and management procedures.Motivate oneself, take ownership, and collaborate with teams.Work in a Level 2 BIM environment.Engage with clients and design teams for project delivery.Key Skills & Attributes:Experience in transport project design, including roads, rail, and active travel.Experience in greenway projects and at least 6 years in design and construction phases.Knowledge of Irish/UK standards (NTA, TII, DMRB).Proficiency with Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, and other relevant software.Strong communication skills.Qualifications:Level 8 honours degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Level 9 master's degree or equivalent preferred.Chartered status or working towards it is advantageous.Why RPS for you?
