Azurity is seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist with a strong statistical modeling and software engineering skillset to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics team. This role will be instrumental in supporting our production grade Commercial Sales & Marketing analytics initiatives, including opportunities to contribute to the development of high-impact machine learning initiatives. This role will particularly focus on the areas of omnichannel marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, measurement dashboard backend development, and bespoke commercial impact analyses.

Responsibilities
* Serve as an internal technical consultant on statistical modeling techniques and execute projects spanning our Commercial analytics and ML initiatives.
* Assess, clean, and analyze large structured and/or unstructured datasets.
* Promote and adhere to data science and software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, and documentation.
* Work closely with data engineers, front-end engineers, and other technical colleagues to integrate data-driven insights into Marketing strategies and products.
* Design, implement, and maintain journey assignments for marketing campaigns, ensuring best practices including randomized and unbiased processes.
* Develop and deliver bespoke measurement analyses for omnichannel marketing campaigns.
* Contribute to high-impact ML and AI initiatives aimed at optimizing marketing efforts.
* Manage the post-ETL processes of our Next-Best-Action recommendation system, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Provide essential support for new brand integrations and implement updates to align with strategic business imperatives.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related STEM discipline with 0+ years of relevant professional industry experience, or a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related STEM discipline with 3+ years of relevant professional industry experience.
* Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with an emphasis on Python ML libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, and PyTorch.
* Solid foundation in statistics and mathematics, including techniques such as A/B testing design and causal inference (prospective and retrospective) with experimental and observational data.
* Knowledge of software engineering best practices including version control (Git), Docker and documentation, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to derive insights from data.
* Excellent communication skills, with an ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience in marketing or commercial analytics, particularly within the pharmaceutical industry, is highly desirable.
