Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Greater Dublin for a Sous Chef. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, quality control, and managing kitchen staff. Responsibilities also include inventory management, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring consistency in food presentation and taste. The Sous Chef will contribute to menu development and uphold the restaurant's high standards for quality and innovation.
Qualifications
* Culinary expertise and experience in food preparation and plating
* Ability to manage kitchen staff and operations efficiently
* Strong knowledge of inventory management and kitchen hygiene standards
* Creativity in menu development and dedication to maintaining food quality
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role is desirable
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
* A diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is beneficial
