We're looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Scientific Sales Specialist to join our clients growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge laboratory instrumentation and consumables while building strong client relationships across the scientific community.
Industries: Academic + Pharmaceutical + Hospital labs Key Responsibilities Achieve regional sales and margin targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Plan and execute daily sales activities, including client visits and prospecting.
Collaborate with internal teams to maximize client engagement and support.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Represent the company at trade shows, training events, and workshops.
Maintain accurate sales data and reports using CRM tools.
Recommend improvements to product offerings and services based on customer feedback.
What We're Looking For Education: Third-level science degree (essential).
Experience: Minimum 2 years in sales or sales support, ideally within a laboratory or scientific environment.
Open also to candidates with a scientific background looking to move into a sales role.
Skills & Attributes: Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Self-driven, results-oriented, and enthusiastic.
Practical knowledge of general laboratory techniques.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
Willingness to travel and continuously learn.
