Overall Purpose of the Job
To manage the service delivery of a very exclusive contract portfolio, fulfilling key elements such as service quality, promoting a team ethos, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
1. Account reconciliation, billing, and trending.
2. Manage cost control and review costs with the objective of reducing expenses and achieving savings.
3. Promote and deliver the company's aims to meet or exceed quality levels and customer support objectives.
4. Manage a team of operatives, supporting hiring, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and development.
5. Ensure quality service delivery while maximizing efficiencies.
6. Maintain control measures to ensure safe working environments for subcontractors.
7. Manage all aspects of the portfolio under your control.
8. Provide guidance to clients as needed.
9. Ensure service delivery aligns with SLA and KPIs.
10. Establish and manage quality measures and procedures for continuous improvement.
11. Facilitate and manage staff training requirements.
12. Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed.
13. Prepare monthly reports for all contracted services.
14. Participate in meetings to discuss progress and issues.
15. Administer management and reporting procedures.
16. Ensure safety systems are in place and health & safety requirements are met.
17. Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures.
18. Suggest and implement service improvements and innovations.
19. Build good relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
20. Manage contractual documents and KPIs to minimize risk and maximize profit.
21. Source and utilize materials and subcontractors effectively.
22. Conduct site audits to ensure standards are maintained.
23. Produce accurate client reports, including bespoke documentation.
24. Take responsibility for health and safety at sites.
25. Manage adhoc projects as required.
26. Operate an effective security team with a light-touch approach.
27. Improve operational practices towards 'best-in-class'.
28. Manage staff rosters and monitor team performance.
29. Address employee grievances and maintain personnel records.
30. Manage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles.
31. Develop operational procedures and emergency manuals.
32. Facilitate ongoing staff training.
33. Perform any other duties as assigned.
Person Specification
Ability to develop customer relationships, experience in hiring, motivating, and retaining staff, self-motivated, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, dynamic approach to improvement, customer-focused, decision-making ability, problem-solving skills, commercial acumen, and ability to manage multiple priorities and teams.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in a regulated client environment, at least 3 years in business management, experience in cleaning/security sectors, third-level or trade qualification, membership in a professional organization, PSA accreditation and Garda Vetting are beneficial, financial and project management experience, and a full clean driving license.
Working Pattern
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
