The Director of Compensation Product Management role is responsible for building Workday's compensation products, and delivering an outstanding experience for HR leaders, managers, employees and our partners.
About the Role We are looking for a proven leader to guide a team of Product Managers for our Workday Compensation investment, supporting our customers and partners.
This leader is passionate about total rewards and innovating with AI to support high value outcomes for compensation leaders and practitioners.
This leader is also committed to influencing and determining the compensation strategy, defining and executing on the product roadmap, and partnering with multiple cross-teams.
About You Basic Qualifications5+ years of leadership experience; managing global teams preferred3+ years experience successfully launching and scaling compensation products, with a focus on integrating AI/ML capabilities to drive better outcomes.
Background in compensation practices, with a clear understanding of the nuances for global customer needs, and experience running a compensation review, ideally leveraging predictive or prescriptive analytics.
The ability to synthesize vast amounts of data—including market research, user feedback, and sales performance—to develop a clear and defensible global product strategy, with a proven track record of using data science or ML techniques to uncover new insights.
Other Qualifications Focuses on both Workday business value while delivering and measuring customer value, including defining key performance indicators for AI/ML features.

We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role).
