Applications are invited for the following CAF ASSISTANT REF: 29/2025 Permanent Part-Time (40 hours per fortnight) Ballincollig, Co. Cork The Role The role of the Café Assistant is to provide a professional, friendly and efficient service to customers of Chapel Gate Café. The café strives to become the coffee house of choice in Ballincollig by constantly delivering quality products, using accredited suppliers, fair trade products where possible, to respect, and value all our customers and employees, and to develop all our team members to their full potential The Candidates Qualifications and Experience Each candidate for the appointment must possess: A QQI level 2 in Food Safety A minimum of 2 years' experience of working in a catering environment Experience of working with people with learning disabilities would be a distinct advantage Reporting to: Cafe Manager or other such person as the Employing Authority may designate Salary Scale: €34,240 - €40,379 Pro-rata to a full-time post per annum (1/3/25 Department of Health Consolidated Scales) Hours of work: 40 hour per fortnight, worked over a roster agreed with Line Manager.
