Contracts Manager - Mission Critical Projects (Permanent)

A leading infrastructure and construction contractor delivering complex mission critical and hyperscale projects across Ireland is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join its senior leadership team.
This is a key appointment for Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and end-to-end delivery of large-scale technical projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards expected in mission critical environments.
The Contracts Manager will play a pivotal role in leading project delivery teams, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the strategic direction of the business as part of the Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the successful delivery of mission critical construction projects from preconstruction through to handover
Manage site teams, project managers, engineers, and subcontractors across multiple workstreams
Maintain and develop strong client relationships, acting as a key senior point of contact
Ensure strict adherence to programme, budget, quality, and contractual obligations
Drive excellence in health & safety performance across all project activities
Oversee subcontractor procurement, performance, and contract administration
Monitor project progress and produce regular reporting for senior stakeholders and clients
Identify and manage commercial risks, variations, and change control processes
Implement company systems, procedures, and governance frameworks consistently across projects
Contribute to strategic planning, business improvement, and operational delivery standards
Requirements
Proven experience in a Contracts Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Construction Management role
Strong background delivering mission critical, data centre, industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects
Demonstrable leadership of multi-disciplinary site and commercial teams
Strong understanding of construction contracts, programme management, and commercial control
Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage fast-track, technically complex builds in high-pressure environments
Strong IT proficiency including Microsoft Office and project management systems
Certifications & Competence
Safe Pass (or equivalent site safety certification)
Manual Handling
Additional site management or health & safety qualifications advantageous
Experience with construction management or project control software desirable
