Head Chef needed
Our busy little restaurant (just two years young) is growing fast, and we're now looking for a Head Chef to take the reins of our kitchen.
We need someone who's passionate about food, thrives under pressure, and is ready to bring creativity and leadership as we continue to grow.
It will be the responsibility of the head chef to manage all aspects of the kitchen, including HACCP, training, food waste and quality control.
We are a fast paced kitchen, our customer base is mainly passing trade during summer months on a very popular tourist destination on the ring of Kerry.
Evenings are more relaxed with emphasis on good quality food and friendly service which we hope to concentrate more in the coming months.
Duties would include:
Implementation of new evening menu and Daily Specials in line with up and coming food trends
full accountability for the smooth operation of the kitchen
upskilling all kitchen staff to create a high performing team
liaising with suppliers for orders and processing through our purchasing system online
stock take and stock rotation systems
compliance with HACCP at all times
All other duties that go with the daily running of a busy kitchen with a team of 6 team members

Pay: €40,******-€58,****** per year
