With an impressive client portfolio across the UK and Ireland, they deliver high‑quality projects across the Health, Education, Industrial, Leisure, and Commercial sectors. This role is based in their Belfast office, with occasional travel to other offices as required.Your new roleAs a Senior MEP BIM Coordinator, you will play a key role in leading coordination activities across a range of major projects. You will take ownership of project delivery, support junior team members, and act as a technical lead within the Digital Construction function.Key responsibilities include:Leading the development and coordination of BIM models to company and project standardsOverseeing the production of GA drawings, detailed sheets, and coordinated layoutsPreparing builders' works schedules and associated drawingsManaging 3D modelling of prefabricated and modular MEP solutionsEnsuring best practice in BIM processes and Revit MEP workflowsSupporting M&E design development using Revit MEP and NavisworksProducing detailed 3D working models and scheme layoutsManaging and resolving system clashes through Navisworks ManageDeveloping fully coordinated MEP services and structural layoutsProducing high‑quality 2D/3D design drawings, prefabrication isometrics and detailsEnsuring compliance with BIM Level 2, COBie data requirements, and internal QA processesProviding technical guidance and mentorship to BIM Coordinators/TechniciansWhat you'll need to succeed Significant experience working in BIM coordination within an MEP environmentAdvanced proficiency in Revit MEPStrong experience using Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordinationExcellent attention to detail and accuracy in model productionExperience working with BIM 360 and Autodesk DocsExperience with Fabrication MEP/CADDuct is advantageous but not essentialStrong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholdersAbility to lead coordination meetings and present model information confidentlyWhat you'll get in returnThis is an outstanding opportunity to join one of Northern Ireland's leading M&E contractors in a senior technical role.
