Sheelan Kitchens Ltd is an established family run business operating over 37 years, designing, manufacturing, and fitting kitchens, wardrobes and custom pieces for both home owners and contractors alike.
We are currently seeking for an experienced Sales person to join our growing Contract/Commercial division. Projects ranging from small school fitted furniture requirements, to developments of up to 200+ houses.
Role Description:
This role is focused on the growth of the contract & commercial side of the company. The aim is to push further sales with new & existing Trade & Contract customers, and overseeing all aspects from concept to completion.
This role requires all phases of the commercial contract process to be carried out, including:
* Generating customer leads & enquiries, building lasting relationships, & meeting set targets
* Preparing Design Presentations with some Showroom/On-site Consultations
* Accurate Tender Preparation
* Procurement & supplier relations
* Carrying out site surveys & visits
* Liaising with office-based production team, workshop & install teams
* Ultimately, you will oversee projects from initial contact to completion
Skills required
* Proven track record in similar role, working with commercial/contract projects within the kitchen/joinery industry.
* Extensive knowledge of cabinetry, materials & design, with the ability to break down all components for tendering, optimising budgets & designs.
* Competence and experience using ArtiCAD & Microsoft Office (Proficiency with Cabinet Vision/Alphacam is a bonus).
* High organisational skills including working to deadlines, with great attention to detail
* Carry good communication skills & have pleasant manner towards clients & colleagues
* Be punctual, presentable & reliable
* Carry good problem-solving skills & providing solutions on areas for continuous improvement
* Full Drivers Licence
