Purchasing Assistant | Hybrid | Dublin 12At Staffline Recruitment we have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced administrator who is keen to pursue a career in purchasing / procurement. My client is a marketing leading company operating in the medical device and equipment space.Working as part of an established and supportive team, the purpose of this role will be to provide administrative assistance to the purchasing team whilst working closely with the sales and customer service teams, the accounts department and suppliers. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide range of product lines and purchasing processes and secure a position with excellent long-term career prospects.Key responsibilities will include:Processing daily purchase ordersSupport to Purchasing, Customer Services and Sales teamsSupporting Procurement Team with Inventory Trending/Min-Max levels/Safety Stock/Expiry reportsSupport to team with stock management overviewProcess supplier returns, open POs, logistic queriesLiaising with suppliers, attending supplier meetings and building on current relationships as requiredProviding support to the team with data and business analysisMeeting supplier reporting deadlinesAd hoc reporting when requestedProvide assistance during ISO auditWorking to month end deadlines & daily KPI's & PlaybooksInterested applicants will meet the following requirements:Experience of working in a Purchasing Team is an advantageSAP experience an advantageSelf-starter who demonstrates initiativeAnalytical mindsetAssertive dealing with colleagues and suppliersProven attention to detail and follow throughAbility to deal with several tasks at once, able to adapt to most situationsTime management and organisational skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and telephone mannerOpen and receptive communication skillsOutgoing and positive attitude to customers and colleaguesStrong Team PlayerComputer literate in Microsoft officeIf you are someone with an ability to get things done who is looking to join a leading Medical Company and a Great Place to Work, this could be the job for youThis permanent position is located in Dublin 12 and will offer a hybrid working model of 3 days per week working from home.
