We're looking for an experienced Senior Front of House – Head of Security to take control of security operations at one of our busy nightlife venues. This role is for a confident, street-smart leader who knows how to run a door, manage crowds, and keep the vibe right while keeping everyone safe.
The Role
You'll be the senior authority on the floor and at the door — leading security teams, setting standards, and making real-time decisions in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You'll work closely with venue management, promoters, and artists to ensure smooth nights from open to close.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage all front-of-house and door security operations
* Control entry, queues, crowd flow, and capacity during peak hours
* Be the senior decision-maker during incidents, disputes, or emergencies
* Maintain a safe, welcoming atmosphere while enforcing venue policies
* Ensure compliance with licensing laws and security regulations
* Brief, train, and discipline security staff to maintain high standards
* Liaise with management, promoters, artists, and emergency services
* Complete incident reports and oversee risk assessments
What You Bring
* Proven experience as a Head of Security or senior door supervisor in nightlife
* Strong leadership presence and excellent people-management skills
* Deep understanding of crowd dynamics, conflict management, and venue flow
* Ability to stay calm, decisive, and professional under pressure
* Required security licensing (e.g. SIA or local equivalent)
* Flexible availability for late nights, weekends, and events
