Work Location: This role is a key position within the Investment Control team, responsible for collation and reconciliation of custodian data feeds, regulatory reporting under Solvency II for UPE, UHIL, and Utmost Group to the Central Bank of Ireland and PRA, and fee calculation for the UPE book. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial transactions through reconciliation of bank statements against internal records. They will be part of the Investment Reconciliations and Fees team.
Key Accountabilities:
* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and transactions.
* Load and process bank statements into systems.
* Match payments to internal records using automated tools and manual processes.
* Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and suggest improvements.
* Trace transaction flows end-to-end to ensure financial integrity.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
* Prepare reports on reconciliation status for management.
* Maintain documentation and audit trails.
* Assist with period-end close and ensure timely reconciliations.
* Support audits with documentation and inquiries.
* Load policy valuations for Solvency II reporting and fees calculation.
* Generate and issue fee invoices to custodian banks.
* Process payments to brokers, advisors, and management.
* Support collection of IDD and MiFID fees, reconcile, and assist with AVS queries.
* Oversee collection and reconciliation of Italian Stamp Duty.
* Contribute to process improvements, emphasizing controls and risk management.
* Participate in team activities and support colleagues.
* Proactively troubleshoot issues.
* Perform administrative tasks and participate in projects as needed.

Key Requirements:
* Experience in bank reconciliations, cash management, or general accounting (2+ years preferred).
* Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Experience working in large teams under tight deadlines.
* Reliability and integrity, ability to work independently or remotely.
