Workflow Manager We are seeking a Workflow Manager to design, implement, and maintain an end-to-end workflow system for Utilities Networks Construction based projects.
The role will focus on creating a transparent, efficient, and compliant process that enables stakeholders to track project progress across all stages from Pre-CA Request through to Bid Documentation, Post-CA, Design Packs, Safety Documentation, and TSD team deliverables.
Initially focused on HV projects, the workflow system will later expand to support Capital and Customer projects Key Responsibilities Workflow Design & Implementation Develop a comprehensive workflow covering all HV project stages: Pre-CA, Bid Document, Post-CA, Design Pack, Safety Documentation, and TSD Teams.
Map existing processes and integrate them into a centralized workflow using Share Point and Power Automate.
Share Point Administration Configure and manage Share Point libraries for HV project documentation.
Implement appropriate permissions and security protocols for stakeholder access.
Develop dashboards for real-time project tracking and reporting.
Automation & Process Optimisation Build automated flows using Power Automate for document routing, approvals, and notifications.
Introduce analytics and reporting to monitor workflow adoption and identify opportunities for improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement & Training Work closely with PMO, Safety, and TSD teams to gather requirements and validate workflow steps.
Provide user training and documentation to support successful adoption of the workflow system.
Act as the primary point of contact for workflow-related queries, improvements, and enhancements.
Compliance & Continuous Improvement Ensure the workflow aligns with safety processes and design risk assessment protocols.
Conduct periodic reviews to ensure the system continues to meet evolving business needs.
Support broader process improvement initiatives within the Networks Telecoms function.
Experience Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
35 years of experience working with Share Point solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI and SAP beneficial Strong experience with Share Point administration.
Proven ability to develop custom Power Automate flows and Power Apps applications.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform and Share Point ecosystem.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly for user training and stakeholder engagement.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
Familiarity with security and compliance best practices within Share Point environments.
