Job Overview
The Logistics and Purchasing Officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless product setup, efficient shipping schedules, and effective liaison with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Process Purchase Orders to align with agreed product prices and discounts as necessary
* Configure product details, including descriptions, dimensions, and weight
* Foster collaboration with Product Coordinators/Designers
* Coordinate shipping schedules and deliveries with suppliers
* Liaise with Shipping Agents/Forwarders to ensure accurate documentation for customs clearance and address follow-up queries
* Update shipping intake schedules periodically
* Perform cost valuation tasks
* Attend to phone calls and miscellaneous tasks as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in utilizing ERP systems
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills and high-level customer service capabilities
* Previous experience in Shipments/Imports/Exports is advantageous
* Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel reporting
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Effective time management and organizational skills
Working Arrangements
* 8-hour shift
* Monday to Friday
