: Personal Presentation
* Ensuring that ones personal demeanour, attitudes and interactions are at all times professional and in Line with An Bord Altranais Guidelines and scope of practice
* Adherence to An Bord Altranais Code of Practice
* Presented in the full company uniform at all times
* Maintaining a high level of personal hygiene
* Presented in Personal protective Equipment (PPE) when required
* Practicing and promoting Nursing home guidelines on hand washing and Infection Control to protect oneself and others
* Adherence to guidelines on Absenteeism Lateness and sickness
: Resident Care
* Assessing, Planning, Implementing and evaluating nursing care
* Prioritising care needs of residents while ensuring care is individualised
* Assisting in Managing the nursing home environment so that it is conducive to meeting the physical, psychological and social needs of residents
* Preparing and Administrating Drugs in line with Company policy and 'An Bord Altranais' guidelines
* Ensuring residents hygiene/personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while maintaining the residents dignity at all time
* Assisting in the safekeeping of residents valuables
* Providing Palliative care for dying residents and support for their relatives
: Performance Management
* Leading by example and demonstrating a strong 'team ethos' being positive and motivational at all times
* Conducting induction and sign off for new employees
* Planning and allocating daily tasks for care and support staff in a fair and consistent manner
* Encouraging, training and guiding team while maintaining a happy environment
* Participating in Staff Appraisals while continually assessing the performance of all employees
* Addressing with out delay any issues or allegations
