We're an award-winning artisan bakery and café, producing beautiful pastries, sourdough and focaccia, gourmet sandwiches, comforting soups, and consistently great coffee. The café is well established, busy, and known for doing things properly — good food, good coffee, and a place people genuinely enjoy coming back to.
We're now looking for a Café Manager to come on board at a really good moment for the business. This is an opportunity for the right person to take real ownership of the day-to-day and help push the business forward.
This isn't about micromanagement or box-ticking. It's about running a café properly, calmly, and with pride.
The role
You'll be responsible for the smooth running of the café:
* Leading the front-of-house team and setting the tone
* Delivering friendly, efficient service and strong, consistent coffee
* Managing rotas, staff communication, and daily organisation
* Maintaining high standards without creating stress or drama
* Being hands-on and visible, with real ownership of the floor
