Our client, a local family-run roastery in the heart of Waterford City, is on the lookout for a reliable, hands-on team member with a real passion for coffee to join their growing team. Whether you're new to the coffee industry or looking for a role where you can grow, learn, and get stuck in, this is an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Your new job:
You’ll play a key role in day-to-day operations at our client’s roastery — learning the craft of specialty coffee while supporting everything from order fulfilment to equipment servicing and wholesale growth. No two days will be the same, and full training will be provided.
Key duties & responsibilities:
* Packing and preparing customer coffee orders.
* Maintaining and growing relationships with wholesale accounts.
* Assisting with basic espresso machine servicing and maintenance (training provided).
* Learning the fundamentals of coffee roasting (training provided).
* Supporting general operations as part of a close-knit, hard-working team.
* Delivery of orders to customers locally.
What are we looking for?
* A full, clean driver’s license is essential.
* A genuine interest in coffee — do you drink it, love it, want to know more about it?
* A strong work ethic, a good attitude, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
* No previous experience required — just a willingness to learn and grow with the business.
