The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job
* Thorough knowledge of Food & Beverage outlet operations including F&B service techniques and guest interaction.
* Ability to communicate in English, both orally and written, with guests and employees.
* Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
* Knowledge of both bar & floor service essentail.
Minimum requirements:
* Position requires 2 years previous Food & Beverage experience.
Skills to be demonstrated at all times:
* Awareness of the daily business at all times.
* Develop an in-depth knowledge of the Gastro pub trade and late-night venues from an operational viewpoint.
* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of different cuisines.
* Demonstrate ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure at all times.
* Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Demonstrate an eye for detail and cleanliness.
* Knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits and beer is an advantage.
* A passion for delivering exceptional food & beverage experience to all patrons
* Well presented and highly organised with a calm disposition
* This role reports to the Service Manager / Assistant Service Manager and others designated by management.
