Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a suitably skilled
Project Manager
to join their team. The duration of this post is
12 months
initially with possible extensions thereafter. This role will be based
Onsite in Dublin 8
.

Working
35 hours per week,
the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of
€32.86 per hour
based on an
annualised salary of €60,013
You will
accrue 30 days annual leave
per year and paid Bank Holidays.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership & Performance Management:

* Oversee the successful planning, delivery, implementation and maintenance of Case Management System.
* Develop a Project Plan for the new system and oversee the projects completion ensuring it stays on time, within budget and meets the required standards and scope.
* Empower staff to take ownership of the work they are tasked with, their personal development and that they actively support the growth of peers through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
* Build a consolidated corporate system with Third Party support to unify data, streamlines processes, enhancing collaboration and boost productivity.
* Successfully implement the new system across all departments withing the agreed timelines.
* Development of standardised IT service management processes for Problem Management, Change Control, Asset Management and Database Management integrating with existing IT solutions.
* Safely migrate data from existing systems into new case management system.
* Conduct comprehensive training sessions in collaboration with Third Party to ensure all staff are proficient in using the system.
* Engages with key stakeholders, third parties and internal departments to ensure a mutual understanding of the Project.

Quality, Risk & Compliance:

* Establish structures for the consistent reporting of project plans, timelines, budgets, and monitoring of progress against established milestones and deliverables.
* Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

* Facilitate regular reviews and status updates with stakeholders and other I&O Managers to communicate progress, risks, and issues.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the project.
* Continuous improvement by creating power user groups in each department to support the ongoing development of the system and sharing of learnings.
* Maintain the highest standards of data privacy and security in all aspects.
* In collaboration with I&O Lead, Project & Cyber Security Working Groups, devising the appropriate best practices, policies, protocols & SOP's in line with industry standards

Communication & Relationships:

* Build trust and understanding with all stakeholders and ensure highly effective communication to manage, motivate and influence multiple stakeholders
* Report regularly to the CIO, I&O Lead and other senior management on the effectiveness of the project, including key risks and compliance with policy and controls, escalating issues as appropriate.
* Has strong results focus and ability to achieve results through collaborative working.
* Communicate the value and impact of the project to various stakeholders through reports, presentations, and meetings.

Professional Knowledge & experience:

* Ability to independently prioritise workload to ensure on time project/task completion.
* Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, organisation skills, efficiency and works with keen attention to detail.
* Engaging and assisting with the Hospital's ICT support structures including all pillars and on-call support requirements.
* Developing and maintaining close relationships with other Informatics Managers and the wider Informatics Directorate
* Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the exploration and adoption of new technologies.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the project, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
* Stay informed about best practices and advancements in IT through collaboration with external peers, partners and conferences.

Qualifications and/or Relevant Experience

Required:

* Have not less than two year's satisfactory experience in an administrative capacity within the Public Sector / Hospital / Healthcare or other environment relevant to the role
* Possess sufficient administrative capacity to discharge the functions of the grade.
* Knowledge/Experience of the main ICT systems in use in the Hospital
* ICT related Qualification or 5 years relevant ICT Experience
* ITIL qualification or formal Service Management experience.

Desirable:

* Evidence of Further education / Self Development.
* Management / Leadership course

Technical/Clinical Competencies

* Demonstrate ICT skills (e.g., familiarity with using/supporting ICT systems and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
* Project Management principles and delivery of leading a complex IT Projects

*This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role*
