Financial Operations Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and organized Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing various financial tasks and processes.
* Process supplier invoices in a multi-currency environment, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
* Manage customer receipts and credit control, maintaining strong relationships with clients.
* Reconcile statements, expenses, and credit card invoices, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
* Oversee monthly supplier account reconciliations and payment runs, ensuring seamless transactions.
* SUPPORT quarter-end activities, contributing to the smooth closure of financial periods.
* Process payroll (weekly and monthly) using Sage Payroll Software, adhering to strict deadlines.
* Promote fiscal responsibility by preparing VAT, PAYE, and other relevant taxation returns, meeting regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with the finance team to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing overall efficiency.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in financial operations.
* Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
* Previous experience in processing payroll, understanding complex pay structures.
* Proficient computer skills, including Excel and Sage, utilizing technology to streamline processes.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
