Roughan & O’Donovan (ROD) is looking to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant with five+ years’ post-qualification relevant experience for a fixed term contract role with a view to permanency within our expanding Accounts teamJob type:12 Months Fixed Term Contract with a view to PermanencyLocation:Sandyford, D.18ResponsibilitiesProduce monthly reports for our board ofdirectorsWork with our project managers to ensure correct revenuerecognitionCredit control and management of accounts receivablefunctionMaintain subconsultantsregisterManage subconsultants’invoicesProject reporting to our project managers anddirectorsManage and prepare our UK payrollAssist our financial controller with quarterly forecastsAssist our financial controller with work-in-progress figuresReconcile P&L and B/S nominal ledger accountsSupport the production of feeinvoices, credit notes and issuing to clientsManage the electronic filing and archiving of contracts and fee-relateddocumentsAssist our financial controller with insurancerenewalsManage intercompany accountingpostingsCollaborate with our change management team to further enhance the efficiency of our finance departmentUndertake additional administrative tasks asrequestedACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with minimum 5 year's PQE experience.Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar finance roleKnowledge of VAT guidelinesExcellent IT skills, including MS Excel and SharePoint in particularStrong organisational and teamwork skillsStrong work ethicAbility to work on own initiative and to strict deadlinesFluency/high level of proficiency in spoken and written EnglishPrevious experience using Sage Professional2022Strong working knowledge of UK and Irish Corporate and Indirect TaxExperience engaging with HMRCAbout Roughan & O’DonovanRoughan & O'Donovan (ROD) is a leading civil, environmental and structural engineering consultancy.
