Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Job Description
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Duties
* To work as part of a team in the design and implementation of a programme of activities which will provide the social, emotional and intellectual development of children aged from 6 months to 5 years, in a full-daycare setting.
* To help maintain an environment which is warm and stimulating and that will motivate and encourage children in their growth and development.
* To provide for the basic needs of children, including meals and snacks, nappy changing and assisting with toileting and hygiene.
* To maintain the Childcare Centre area, its resources and equipment.
* To sit and converse with children, participate in games.
* To assist children with the clean up of activity area after each activity.
* To assist Room Leaders in maintaining a child centered environment for children.
* To assist with the hygiene routines in the childcare centre.
* Garda Vetting required.
