Sales Administrator Commercial Team About the Role Our client is a leading and expanding wholesale and distribution business in Ireland.
They are seeking a proactive Sales Administrator to join their busy commercial team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with sales experience to develop their career in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities Handle incoming enquiries via telephone, email, and online channels from customers and trade professionals.
Prepare and issue sales quotations, orders, and invoices accurately.
Conduct outbound sales calls to promote products and services.
Coordinate sales orders with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and timely delivery.
Liaise with customers regarding stock availability, order discrepancies, and provide suitable alternatives.
Generate and analyse sales reports as required.
Provide internal sales support to field representatives and team members.
Offer product knowledge and after-sales support to customers and end-users.
Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Proactively drive sales from within the office.
Handle customer pricing queries and assist in the showroom or office as needed.
Requirements Previous experience in sales or sales administration.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Experience in wholesale, distribution, retail, building materials, home improvement, or related industries is highly desirable Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Enthusiasm to learn about products, systems, and customer needs.
Confident in handling after-sales queries.
