Full Stack Engineer - Governance & Transformation at JPMorgan Chase, part of the International Consumer Bank. Job Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end cloud‑native microservices using Python (FastAPI) for the back end and GraphQL for the front end.
* Build intuitive, responsive user interfaces, ensuring seamless experiences for internal stakeholders.
* Implement data‑driven solutions with DynamoDB, focusing on high performance and stability.
* Write clean, scalable code, and deliver robust unit and functional tests as part of continuous integration practices.
* Contribute to observability and reliability platforms, developing actionable insights, automated alerting, and reporting on SLOs.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional squads to promote technical innovation and adaptability to emerging reliability challenges.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
* Formal training or certification in software development concepts and extensive applied experience.
* Proven proficiency in Python back‑end development.
* Strong experience with TypeScript, MUI, and modern front‑end practices.
* Experience working with DynamoDB or other NoSQL databases in production.
* Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications across both front‑end and back‑end.
* Commitment to clean, maintainable code with robust testing and CI practices.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
* Strong communication skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
* Experience or interest in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and principles.
* Experience with FastAPI and GraphQL development.
* Experience with additional front‑end frameworks or libraries (e.g., Redux, RTL) is a plus.
* Exposure to cloud‑native architectures and microservices.
