Meet the Team
The Audience Insights Department is responsible for delivering audience insights to a variety of stakeholders. These are used to inform RTÉ’s multi-platform content strategy and help put the audience at the heart of decision making.
About the Role
Analysing audience behaviours, consumption and media needs across our platforms
Using industry measurement and analytics packages to identify audience insights and trends
Providing regular reporting on platform, channel and programme performance
Presenting audience insights and research findings to senior stakeholders
About You
4+ years of professional experience in research and/or business strategy and/or data analytics
Keen interest in research and data analysis
Proven ability in analysing information from different sources and in presenting insights and recommendations
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office software with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Experience of using visualization tools, including Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau
Nice to Have
Previous experience working with an Audio or Video Broadcaster, other media organisation or research agency
Knowledge of media measurement techniques and tools (E.g. Ad Serve, Arianna, Piano)
Familiarity with JNLR and/or Nielsen TAM
This appointment will be made at the Administrative Grade 1 and is being offered on an ongoing full‑time basis. The salary scale for this grade is from €42,772 to €57,860 gross per annum. Closing date for receipt of applications is Monday, 11th May 2026.
