LongfordWhat you'll be doing:Champion compliance across supplier monitoring and control processesManage customer specifications, questionnaires, and tender documents with accuracy and efficiencyLead and complete internal audits (traceability, fabrication, etc.) and follow through on corrective actionsSupport new product development projects, ensuring products meet both customer and regulatory requirementsOversee calibration of all measuring equipment on siteDeliver engaging food safety training to staff, promoting a culture of quality and accountabilityLead the hygiene team, ensuring best-in-class standards across the siteTake ownership of customer queries and complaints, driving swift and effective resolutionsPlay a key role in maintaining and implementing QMS and HACCP systemsAct as deputy to the Technical Manager, stepping up when requiredProvide support to the Technical Manager across additional projects and requirementsWhat we're looking for:A degree in Food Science or a related discipline3+ years' experience in a food manufacturing environment within a similar roleStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage teams at all levelsA self-starter with the ability to work independently while contributing to a wider teamSolid knowledge of HACCP, QMS, BRC, and retailer standardsIT savvy with strong attention to detail and organisational skillsWhy apply?This is more than just a quality role – it's a chance to join awell-established, forward-thinking companythat is making its mark in the Irish food industry.
