You will expand our practical skills offerings, develop new learning opportunities, and build partnerships with organisations who share our mission. You will also help position Common Knowledge as a national reference point for sustainability skills and hands-on learning.This role is strategic and relational. It is not focused on full time teaching or technical consultancy. Instead, you will help design, grow and guide an ecosystem of high quality learning programmes that support people to build confidence, capability and community through practical skills.What You Will Do1. Learning and Course DevelopmentContinue to develop and refine our courses across building, making, mending, growing, retrofit and circular skills, working with our skillsharing coordinatorShape new short courses, modular pathways and professional offeringsEnsure cohesive pedagogy and high quality learner experienceWork closely with instructors and craftspeople to bring new ideas to life2. Partnerships and Opportunity BuildingBuild relationships with community groups, NGOs, local authorities, educational bodies, companies and networksIdentify opportunities for collaboration, funding and programme developmentShape proposals for EU projects, government initiatives, and corporate trainingTurn early conversations into long term partnerships3. You may come from sustainability, climate action, circular economy, regenerative practice, adult learning, community education or a related field. You might have worked in programme development, facilitation, partnerships, social enterprise or community led projects.
