If so you will play a key role in delivering an excellent national Building Energy Rating (BER) framework. You will work across technical standards, software development, building energy methodologies, and operational teams to support the implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD).As BER Framework Coordinator, you will:-Lead and coordinate cross‑functional projects to enhance the BER frameworkWork with teams developing building energy performance methodologiesSupport integration of methodologies into software systems such as DEAP and NEAPCollaborate with operations teams, auditors, assessors, and helpdesk functionsDrive quality, efficiency, and process improvements across methodology, software, and operationsDevelop dashboards and reporting tools using Microsoft Power BIManage research and analysis to support EPBD Minimum Energy Performance (MEPs)What You will bring:Essential: Degree (NFQ Level 7 or higher) in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Economics, etc.4+ years' experience in building performance assessment/modelling, sustainability or energy Consultancy, or project managementKnowledge of DEAP/NEAP and building energy performance methodologiesStrong project management skillsExcellent communication skills and experience working with diverse stakeholdersDesirable:Experience in software development, QA, UAT, or customer experienceUnderstanding of building energy systemsBER Assessor certification and a PMP certificationThe RewardsMake a meaningful impact on national building energy performanceWork with experts across engineering, sustainability, software, and operationsEngage in high‑impact policy and research activitiesHybrid work model with locations across IrelandThe role can be part time too.27 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.Keen to apply - please do and we can discuss it.
