**Our Story**
Dairygold is Ireland's largest farmer-owned co-operative. Our unique location, known as the Golden Vale, is home to nutrient-rich pasture lands that stretch across the valleys of Munster, where our farmer shareholders produce quality-assured, naturally sourced raw materials. By combining our deep-rooted farming tradition with nutritional expertise and technology, we have grown into a global player supplying the global market with premium cheese and dairy ingredients.
With headquarters in Mitchelstown, Cork, and operations in other locations in Ireland, Europe, and worldwide, Dairygold processes 1.48 billion litres of milk annually, with an annual turnover of €1.65 billion. The society is structured across three divisions: food ingredients, agri-business, and retail, which drive and support our farmers and business.
Through investments in research, innovation, and world-leading facilities, we produce premium ingredients from our high-quality raw material and add value at every stage of the production process. Our sustainable farming practices and position as leaders in dairy nutrition ensure we achieve our vision of feeding and nourishing the growing world.
We are on the next phase of our journey, challenging ourselves as we carve our position on the world stage, supplying nutritional solutions for infants through to active ageing for the increasing world population, with a focus on sustainability, unrivalled quality, and full traceability for product excellence.
