A well-established and respected civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager for a large-scale residential project based in West Dublin. This is a long-term opportunity, with the project just beginning and further works planned in the region. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation, company policies, and procedures. Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring safe systems of work are in place. Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and training to staff and subcontractors. Investigate incidents/accidents and ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented. Liaise with site management, contractors, and regulatory bodies as required. Maintain and update all H&S documentation and reports. Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture on site. Requirements: 5+ years experience in a Health and Safety role on civil engineering or construction projects in Ireland. Relevant Health & Safety qualifications (e.g. Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of Irish construction safety legislation and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to work independently and influence others. Full clean driving licence.
