Purpose of Position: To coordinate ELI data and evaluation activities.

National College of Ireland and its Research Committees ELI Advisory Committee and its subcommittees Stakeholders in ELI's programmes, including parents, children and practitioners National and Community partners, Tusla Child and Family agency, statutory agencies, corporate organisations, and other funders Key Responsibilities: Responsibility for ELI's research activities including: Coordination of the internal research and evaluation activities of the ABC/ Dublin's Inner City and National programmes Supervise the ELI research team to coordinate and implement all ELI's research and evaluation processes/systems Collection, collation and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data Support ELI's fundraising, grant applications, donor relationships and volunteering programmes with specific responsibility for Dublin's Inner City, NEIC and ABC Develop and support effective partnerships with other research organisations in the early intervention and prevention, education and community development fields Coordinate the development and maintenance of ELI's database of participants including the maintenance and enhancements of CRM systems Support the coordination of ELI's research projects and learnings from proposal to dissemination, including the End of Year Report, papers, conferences, presentations and other relevant stakeholder platforms Build the capacity of ELI and local partner teams through training, mentorship and coaching to participate in research and evaluation activities and contribute to ELI's research goals and strategy Represent ELI and support its implementation of the ABC Outcomes, National Home Visiting and other relevant data frameworks.
Support and coordinate operational and administrative functions of ELI's research activities, in collaboration with the National Assistant Director and relevant NCI's Departments, including: Recruitment and employment practices IT requirements, including phones, CRM, laptops etc.
Facilities - office space, health and safety etc.
Marketing re: communications, social media etc.
Governance - reporting and accountability to NCI's Governing Body, Academic Council, ELI Advisory Committees and Subcommittees GDR, ethics and other key requirements Support the development and implementation of NCI's Institutional Research Strategy, with a particular focus on ELI's research commitments and annual operational plans Liaise with key stakeholders, including national and local partners, Tusla, ELI funders, other Departments within NCI Other appropriate research and administrative activities as needed Any other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Director/Assistant Director Skills and Experience Required: Recognised relevant third level qualification Experience of both qualitative and quantitative research.
Excellent research, administrative and organisational skills Excellent IT skills in Ms Excel Ms Word, Eva Sys, CRM systems, SPSS and other relevant research packages etc.
Knowledge and understanding of the Irish policy, early intervention and prevention, education, community and charity sectors Ability to work closely with marginalised families and have an understanding of the issues of marginalization.
