Role Overview
We seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage/Credit Analyst to manage the end-to-end processing of new mortgage applications, from initial receipt through to submission to lenders.
The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for designated brokers, ensuring an efficient, accurate, and professional service at every stage of the process. This role requires strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to manage a busy mortgage pipeline in a fast-moving environment.
The position will be based at Fairstone Assist offices on Baggot Street, Dublin 2. Remote or hybrid working is supported, provided the successful candidate works remotely within the Republic of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage new mortgage applications from initial receipt through to lender submission.
* Serve as the main point of contact for assigned brokers, delivering high-quality service and support.
* Communicate with brokers via phone, email, and online systems regarding application status, requirements, and documentation.
* Prepare, analyse, and validate mortgage applications to ensure they meet lender criteria.
* Proactively manage a pipeline of applications to ensure timely progress and resolution of outstanding items.
* Liaise with brokers to gather documentation and resolve queries efficiently.
* Communicate lender decisions clearly and promptly.
* Deliver work to high standards of accuracy, customer service, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in mortgage processing, a strong customer focus, and the ability to thrive within a high-performing, fast-paced team. A proactive approach, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Key Requirements
Essential
* Minimum of Accredited Product Advisor (APA) in Loans.
* 1–2 years' experience in a credit-related role (lender, broker, or credit union).
* Strong knowledge of mortgage products, criteria, and market segments.
* Ability to recognise problems and identify practical solutions.
* Proven ability to work on your own initiative while contributing effectively to a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a strong telephone manner.
* Demonstrated ability to manage workload efficiently with strong attention to detail.
* Customer-focused mindset with experience delivering excellent service.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
* Remote workers must be based within the Republic of Ireland.
Desirable
* Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) accreditation or working toward full qualification.
* Proven track record of exceeding targets relating to credit quality, business performance, and customer experience.
* Experience managing a high-volume mortgage pipeline.
* Additional experience within financial services, lending support, or broker relations.
