This role can be located in our offices across the Republic of Ireland, working across assurance, consulting, law, strategy, tax and transactions. EY teams ask better questions to find new answers for complex issues facing our world today.
The Team and Opportunity
As part of our AI & Data team, this role is pivotal in enabling clients to derive significant value from their information assets. Through collaboration and domain expertise, we embed innovative AI & Data solutions into existing business areas, transforming data into strategic assets.
We’re looking for a Director who is passionate about leveraging data to solve complex problems and drive business outcomes. You will play a key role in developing new and existing client relationships and delivering first‑class customer experience on high‑profile engagements.
Your Key Responsibilities
Help clients unlock value from information assets by collaborating with domain experts across assurance, tax, transactions and advisory to embed innovative data analytics solutions.
Lead diverse teams with varying skillsets, using different data and analytics technologies.
Adapt your leadership style to fit team, client and cultural needs; anticipate and identify risks, escalating issues as appropriate.
Create a positive learning culture; coach and counsel junior members and help them develop.
Contribute to the growth of the team, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and the courage to lead and develop others.
Use knowledge and experience to create innovative insights that add value to clients and society.
Champion operational efficiency improvements on projects and internal initiatives, consistently driving projects to completion and ensuring high quality work.
Help build the AI & Data team’s brand by attending events, collaborating with internal teams, and producing thought leadership.
Establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships; identify potential business opportunities for EY to incubate or drive new solutions and services.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Minimum 7+ years of experience in AI & Data with a proven track record of creating impactful visual stories from complex datasets.
A completed degree (bachelors, masters, or PhD).
Relevant experience in consulting or industry with significant management experience.
Ideally, you will also have
Demonstrated ability to supervise and develop others, communicate and manage budgets, client expectations, deliver quality projects on time.
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients.
Ambition to continuously develop your skills and abilities.
Analytically minded, able to assimilate and apply new techniques and knowledge to deliver insights and solve problems.
