Senior National Account Manager

As
Senior National Account Manager
, you'll report directly to the Director of International Sales and play a pivotal role in accelerating commercial growth across wholesale and retail. You'll lead a small team, build and nurture key retailer relationships, and partner closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to bring best-in-class activations to life.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that combines strategic ownership with executional excellence - giving you the chance to make a real impact across grocery, pharmacy and distribution channels, while contributing to ambitious company-wide growth targets.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage commercial partnerships with major retail and grocery accounts, aligning activity with annual sales targets.
* Unlock new opportunities across distribution partners while nurturing existing relationships.
* Develop and support a high-performing sales team, coaching them to hit wholesale and growth targets.
* Monitor and analyse account performance including sales forecasting, margin, and profitability reporting.
* Own customer planning, forward forecasting, and promotional strategies to ensure business continuity and revenue growth.
* Work collaboratively with the marketing team to support retail activation and in-store excellence.
* Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders on all commercial initiatives, activations, and timelines.
* Provide regular reporting and visibility into the sales pipeline.
* Act as the sales lead cross-functionally, ensuring smooth collaboration with Finance, Operations, and NPD teams.
* Oversee operational efficiencies to ensure best-in-class customer service across all accounts.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a National Account or Key Account Management role, ideally within the beauty, FMCG, or retail sector.
* Background in managing and developing a sales team.
* Commercially astute, with experience owning and negotiating with large-scale retail accounts.
* Strong track record of delivering sales performance in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and forecasting skills.
* Confident working cross-functionally and liaising with senior internal stakeholders.
* Proficient in Excel; knowledge of Sage, Mintsoft, or Canva is desirable.
* Results-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused with a structured, organised approach.
* Familiarity with the Irish retail landscape is a plus but not essential.
