We are a busy, highly reputable and innovative gastro pub on the outskirts of Cork City.
We are looking for a professional and experienced Chef de Partie to join our enthusiastic team.
To work alongside the Head Chef & Senior Sous Chef to manage daily kitchen activities, including overseeing staff, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality and freshness, and monitoring ordering and stock levels.
Ensure all kitchen systems are in place and continuously adhered to, including:
* Food safety & hygiene
* Health & Safety (HACCP)
* Safe food handling
Responsibilities include:
* Preparing specific food items and meal components at your station.
* Delivering the standard and presentation of food as required by the company.
* Following directions provided by the head chef.
* Collaborating with the rest of the culinary team to ensure high-quality food and service.
* Keeping your area of the kitchen safe and sanitary.
* Improving your food preparation methods based on feedback.
* Assisting in other areas of the kitchen when required.
You must be able to work some evenings and weekends.
