Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Safety Data Analyst to join Europe’s largest airline group.

You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining Ryanair’s industry-leading safety record. As a Safety Analyst, your role will involve developing statistical analyses and identifying trends in reporting data related to hazards, events, and occurrences. You will report to the SMS Data Manager.
Responsibilities:
1. Establish, adjust, and monitor Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) aligned with Allowable Levels of Safety Performance (ALOSP), under the guidance of the Safety Manager, as part of SMS Safety Assurance requirements.
2. Ensure accurate data input, retention, and visualization.
3. Escalate Safety Reports appropriately, provide report summaries, and de-identify data as necessary.
4. Promote hazard reporting and maintain an effective safety reporting process.
5. Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and objectivity in all Safety Reports.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field or equivalent work experience.
2. Aviation experience is preferred but not essential.
3. Ability to understand and follow documented processes and procedures.
4. Prepare presentation materials for the Safety Manager and Director of Safety.
5. Interest in data visualization tools like Power BI and experience in creating dashboards.
6. Assist in data collection for incident investigation reports.
7. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, including leadership.
8. Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced, and time-sensitive environment.
9. Knowledge of aviation operations, strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.
