About The Role
Location: Dublin 22
Pay: €13.5 an hour
Shift Pattern: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday, Weekend availability required
Key Accountabilities
* General cleaning/Litter picking
* Gritting when necessary
* Complete a schedule of cleaning tasks, as directed by the supervisor / management team
* Ensure that all tasks are carried out in a professional manner, following all "safe systems of work" & risk assessment directions
* Wear the correct and appropriate PPE specified at all times
* Comply with all statutory Health & Safety Rules and Regulations
* Comply with all health & safety regulations for cleaning materials, equipment and buildings.
* Provide high personal standards of work/performance, personal hygiene and appearance
* Assist with any special duties requested, some of which may occur outside normal working hours
* Wear any items of personal protective equipment, as specified by the cleaning supervisor / manager
* Report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment to the supervisor / management team
* Report all building defects to the supervisor / management team
* Carry out any reasonable request, as specified by the supervisor / management team to attend all company meetings and training as requested.
* General day to day cleaning – Yards, Carparks, changing bins, etc
* Ensure safe work practices and procedures are followed on site
* As part of your job, you will be expected to attend training events and/or meetings and travel to other locations may be required. Local requirements will govern your patterns and locations of work.
Skills & Experience required
* No experience required, full training provided
* Experience working in a team and alone
* Basic English is required for the role
It may be necessary to work alternative hours, shift patterns or unsociable hours, including weekends and sometimes more than contracted hours.
