About the Role
An exciting opportunity has opened for a seasoned Project Manager to become a vital part of the Project Management Office (PMO) in Dundalk, Ireland. This strategic role supports best-in-class project delivery across site-wide initiatives, driving results through strong governance and leadership of cross-functional project teams. The Project Manager will lead diverse projects including process improvement, new system implementation, and New Product Introduction (NPI) within our Drug Product operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end management of projects within the site’s strategic project portfolio.
* Execute process improvement and transformation initiatives using methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, or Scrum, tailored to specific business challenges.
* Collaborate with project sponsors at initiation to ensure scope, objectives and deliverables are clearly defined.
* Champion project management best practices, aligning cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
* Proactively manage risks, resolve issues, and escalate concerns to local and global stakeholders when required.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 6+ years of industry experience, with at least 4 years in project management roles.
* Strong knowledge and practical application of project execution methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
* Proficient in project management tools and software.
* Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional matrix teams.
* Experience with MPS/Operational Excellence (Green Belt certified).
* Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Science or a related field.
* Pharmaceutical industry background is essential.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications
* Experience in Vaccines, Biologics, or Sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Recognised Project Management Certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2).
