We are also committed to training and developing our team members and ensuring their journey with us inspires them each day.Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:Conduct wedding show arounds both prearranged and walk-insFollow up wedding enquires/leads via telephone, email, zoom calls in line with sales strategyPreparing and provide quotes, contracts and wedding information for couplesCoordinating and maintain the booking diaryActively achieving budgeted wedding sales targets within the Sales teamManage external wedding websites such as weddingsonline, Once Fab Day etcCompiling and updating weddings reportsBe the point of contact & maintain customer relationships- both new and old to ensure first class personal service is always deliveredPreparing accurate and detailing each wedding and communicating all details to the relevant departmentsWelcoming couples on arrival on their wedding dayPlan & assist in the execution of wedding fairs /showcases in the hotelAttend fairs and showcases and attending events in the wedding industry.Booking and liaising with external suppliersThis role is Full time position 5/7 days which includes weekendsWork with the Sales team to assist, when necessary, any other events as requiredRequirements for the role:Minimum 2 year's previous experience in wedding planning, event coordination or a related role within the hospitality industryStrong organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple weddings and events simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with clients, vendors and hotel staff.Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring flawless execution of weddings and eventsCreativity and an eye for design - contribute unique ideas and enhance the overall event experienceProblem-solving capabilities to handle any challenges that may arise during wedding and event planning and executionFlexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends based on event schedulesProficiency in using event planning software, online tools, and Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of wedding and event trends, traditions and industry best practicesCustomer-centric mindset and a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences for clients and their guests understands their roles and responsibilitiesAbility to work on own initiative combined with being a team playerExcellent remuneration package including, free meal on duty/uniform/family & friends discounts/free car parking facilities/Employee Awards
