The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting young people within residential accommodation settings and will have a clear understanding of the complex needs faced by individuals requiring structured social care support.This role focuses on the delivery of high-quality accommodation support, primary care coordination, and comprehensive social care and social work services, with the aim of promoting safety, stability, integration, and overall well-being.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and regularly review individualized support plansSupport young people with accommodation and tenancy-related needsProvide social care and social work support, including advocacy and appropriate referralsMonitor progress and adapt support plans to ensure evolving needs are effectively metCoordinate with external agencies and multidisciplinary professionalsMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirementsLead, support, and supervise staff membersParticipate in reviews, team meetings, and case conferencesProvide on-call support, including first aid when requiredEnsure compliance with fire safety, health and safety, and emergency proceduresQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Care, or a related discipline (e.g. Nursing or Teaching)Professional registration or accreditation with the relevant regulatory body (e.g. CORU in Ireland )Demonstrated experience working with young people or other vulnerable populationsStrong knowledge of Irish legislation, policies, and social care servicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapportStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectivelyHigh level of professionalism, motivation, and attention to detailFluency in English is essential; additional languages are an advantageBenefitsFlexible working hoursOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesMeaningful work supporting young people in a residential care setting
