The successful candidate will ensure that payroll operations run smoothly, reliably, and in alignment with both local and global requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Finance Director in all payroll accounting-related matters
* Manage daily and monthly payroll tasks, including journal reviews, postings, and reconciliations
* Serve as the main point of contact for payroll-related queries across the business
* Maintain personnel cost centre data and ensure timely updates
* Ensure the accuracy of payroll postings, including the review of exceptions
* Drive the month-end close process with timely, accurate journal entries and financial statements
* Liaise with Poland HR Operations and the global payroll provider on process and issue resolution
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit requirements
Requirements: Proficiency in payroll and finance systems (experience with Workday is desirable). Strong documentation and attention to detail. Solid understanding of payroll and accounting processes. Excellent planning, organisational, and risk assessment skills. Proven ability to resolve issues and propose process improvements. Strong analytical and abstract reasoning capabilities. Effective decision-making and communication skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Experience collaborating with finance and HR teams in a global organisation.
