The Hospitality Manager will ensure that all accommodation, laundry, and public areas of the Nursing Home are maintained to high standard, whilst motivating and leading the teams in these areas so that the experience of our residents is of high quality.
The Hospitality Manager is a pivotal role in creating a warm, welcoming environment in which resident's quality of life is promoted.

Monitor and oversee the Nursing Home laundry to meet the resident needsEnsure that all checklists and reports are completed by the relevant person before the end of the shift. Ensure Housekeeping Storerooms and any areas used by Housekeeping are kept clean and tidy at all times. All public areas are cleaned and well maintained in line with best practice and Infection Prevention Control guidelinesManagement of the roster for reception, housekeeping and laundry team members.Active participation in all elements of the recruitment of departmental employees.Active participation in all elements of the management of the Nursing Home working closely with other heads of departments.To carry out appraisals with staff on a regular basis.To establish and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness on all rooms and public areasTo create routine cleaning plans so that all furniture, fittings, carpets and coverings are maintained at highest standardRequirements:Minimum 2 years' experience within the hospitality industry (hotel/general manager). High levels of attention to detail. People management skills.
